TAUNTON, MASSACHUSETTS: Mechanics Cooperative Bank Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team are pleased to announce they have donated $1500 to purchase and install a flagpole in honor of local veterans at St. Lawrence Martyr church in New Bedford. As a new member of the New Bedford business community Mechanics Cooperative Bank is now located at 1238 Kempton Street and is proud to honor local veterans and partner with a special parish like St. Lawrence.

The flagpole at St. Lawrence Martyr church was planned for some time however funding for the project proved to be difficult. The timing could not have been better with Mechanics Cooperative Bank opening a new branch and actively looking to get involved and support local non-profits with community-based projects. A special thanks to Father Mike Racine from St. Lawrence Martyr church for his efforts on behalf of all local veterans and his parishioners.
