FALL RIVER, MA – Saint Vincent’s Executive Director, John T. Weldon, is pleased to announce Mechanics Cooperative Bank as the Presenting Sponsor of the Annual Kick-Off to Summer Celebration for the 7th year. The one-of-a-kind Summer Celebration will be held on Friday, June 26th from 6PM to 11PM on the deck of the Battleship Massachusetts, and Mechanics Cooperative Bank’s title sponsorship represents the largest corporate sponsorship of the Celebration.
“Saint Vincent’s is honored to have Mechanics Cooperative Bank as the Title Sponsor of the Summer Celebration for the 7th year in a row,” said Mr. Weldon. “Mechanics’ sustained support of Saint Vincent’s and the Bank’s dedicated leadership over the years speak volumes to their commitment to the youth and families of our community. We are extremely grateful to Mechanics for their support of our Mission of Giving Children and Families In Need What They Need Most,” said Mr. Weldon.
Back by popular demand, the evening celebration overlooking Fall River’s waterfront is expected to draw over 400 guests from Southeastern MA and Rhode Island and will feature complimentary beer and wine, cash bar, gourmet dinner and dessert, dancing to the sounds of The Pulse of Boston, and both silent and live auctions emceed by volunteer auctioneer, Ryan Nadeau.
Saint Vincent’s 7th Annual Kick-Off to Summer Celebration signals the start of the summer season. Proceeds from the Celebration will directly benefit the youth participating in Saint Vincent’s Life Skills Program. “For the 7th year in a row, Mechanics Cooperative Bank continues the tradition of being the Title Sponsor of Saint Vincent’s Annual Kick-Off to Summer Celebration,” said Joseph T. Baptista, Jr., President and CEO of Mechanics Cooperative Bank. “Mechanics is pleased to support Saint Vincent’s efforts to provide life skills, career development, and vocational training for the many youth of our community who transition to independent living and young adulthood,” Mr. Baptista said.
The evening will feature gourmet food with specialty dishes prepared by local restaurants including Al Mac’s Galley, Boston Market, Edible Arrangements, Fall River Grill, Lafrance Hospitality, Lindt Chocolates, Mario’s Lebanese Syrian Bakery, Not Your Average Joe’s, Olive Garden, St. James Irish
Pub, Ten Cousins Brick Oven, Texas Roadhouse, The 99 Restaurant, Trio Café and Lounge, Umi Japanese Steakhouse, Waterfront Grille, Wicked Kickin’ Savory Cheesecakes and Venus de Milo. Domestic and imported beers will be available, compliments of Quality Beverage. Complimentary wine will be provided by Globe Liquors, and Del’s Lemonade with a vodka infusion will be donated by People’s Liquor Warehouse.
Exclusive Silent and Live Auctions will feature such items as destination packages to Block Island, Maine, Nantucket, New Hampshire, and The Four Seasons Boston, autographed sports memorabilia, golf outings, wine tastings, jewelry and much, much more.
